Deb developed her interest in technology as a partner in several global law firms, where her financial services, regulated industries, corporate, e-commerce and emerging technology clients transformed their businesses to the online world.
Deb’s background in law has helped guide Lenos Software’s operating principles. Deb was a key participant in drafting the Public Key Infrastructure Assessment Guidelines, which provided cryptography requirements and standards, including privacy. As an attorney for the Office of the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), regarding legislative, enforcement and regulatory proceedings, one of her opinions resulted in the U.S. Supreme Court-driven landmark integration of banking and insurance industries.
Deb remains an active participant in the bar, with an appointment to the Standing Committee on Gavel Awards, American Bar Association. Her prior appointments include the Standing Committees on Membership and Technology, which strategically directs the delivery of technology and services to the ABA's 400,000+ members. Deb has also advised the American Bar Endowment ($90 MM+), AEFC Pension Plan ($50 MM+) and board member for various companies.
Deb is a graduate of Boston University; Georgetown University Law Center; and the Pacific Coast Banking School, University of Washington. She has holds active memberships in the California and District of Columbia Bars, Supreme Court Bar (United States), Court of Appeals (United States, Ninth Circuit) and District Court (United States, Northern District, California).
